Below are the car pool meeting locations in Alameda and various park staging
areas.
We meet at the Alameda Bay Farm Island Park and Ride at the scheduled
hike times to car pool to our hiking destination. Meeting times at the
park staging areas are approximately one-half hour later. Contact us to confirm hike meeting places or if you need clarification
of these directions.
Alameda Bay Farm Island Park and Ride
The Alameda Park and Ride is located just over the Bay Farm Island bridge in a parking lot adjacent to the Chuck Corsica golf course.
From Alameda:
Take Otis Dr over the Bay Farm Island bridge
Turn right onto Island Drive, immediately get into the left lane
After .2 miles turn left into the Park and Ride/Grand Pavilion lot
Proceed to the left and look for the group parked at the far end of this lot
From Highway 880 SOUTH:
Take High Street west through Alameda to Otis Dr signal
Turn left on Otis continuing over the Bay Farm Island Bridge
Turn right onto Island Drive, immediately get into the left lane
After .2 miles turn left into the Park and Ride/Grand Pavilion lot
Proceed to the left and look for the group parked at the far end of this lot
From Highway 880 NORTH:
Take the Hagenberger exit off 880 in Oakland
Turn left toward the Airport and the Bay and continue on Hagenberger to Doolittle
Turn right on Doolittle and continue for 2ish miles, past all airport, car rentals, etc and the golf course to signal at Island Drive
Turn left on Island Drive
After .2 miles turn left into the Park and Ride/Grand Pavilion lot
Proceed to the left and look for the group parked at the far end of this lot
